Feedback Form

Email

The methods listed above are the quickest, most reliable ways to get in touch. However, if you feel like only the most important folks in the organization can handle your comments, then send an email to or to reach the presidents and vice president, respectively. Under the officer tab, the email addresses of each officer can be found and clicked on, giving you access to an online form through which to submit your inquiry. General inquiries may be addressed to or .

Search

If you can't wait for an email response, or you think you can find an answer to your question without one, try entering your query into the search box at the bottom of each page. A search engine specially adapted for the UCSB SACNAS website will give you access to all content hosted on the website. Note, however, that minutes and other documents may be hosted off-site -- so if you're looking for a document, it will likely be under the documents menu link. Major search engines crawl the site on a regular basis, perhaps with greater frequency than our custom search engine, so you may want to try Google or Yahoo.

Automatic Recognition

This website incorporates features intendend to streamline your user experience, including automatic recognition of a user who has visited the website before and performed actions that identify this user. Unlike "logging in", this feature does not compromise the security of your account; it does not reveal personal information beyond what is set forth in the information use disclaimer (e.g., your first name). Any usage statistics that are provided are also non-identifiable. Personal information will not be displayed through this feature. As a friendly reminder, we will NEVER ask for your perm number or other personally identifiable information over email or any other method of impersonal communication, except on secure portions of this website.

What if it's not me?

If you're using a public computer, another UCSB SACNAS member may have previously performed actions identifying himself or herself. Don't worry, his or her information is safe and any actions you perform will not be compromised. If this is a public computer, you can erase your automatically-recognized identity right now. If you're on your own computer, sign in under "my account" and we'll try to remember you (cookies must be enabled).

Website functionality

This PHP/MySQL-based website operates best at higher resolutions with Javascript and cookies enabled/allowed. Javascript is required to greatly enhance your user experience, but aside from aesthetics, disabling it may prohibit the operation of critical log-in/log-out features. To log out without JS, go to My Account and click "Hide Me" at the bottom. If you're worried about this, don't perform identifying actions on a public computer, clear the cookies after you do so, or set the computer to public mode. The site also makes use of AJAX to control the newsbar. The site has been tested to be fully operational in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. Internet Explorer functions well but does not parse the formatting correctly.

Not public?

If you accidentally marked this computer as public, but it isn't, send a message to us through the feedback form above explaining so. Please provide the following identification number: 38.107.191.117.
